Let down knowing it was canceled. When I heard a movie was coming out I jumped for joy knowing this could be it, this could be their break and maybe they could slip back to T.

V Show. The 3D sex scene with Toot and Foxxy along with another girl in the club was not needed for and Captain Hero's passion with a dead corpse was I must admit funny but there's a time and a place for everything, for those drawn together fans who think this is will be like the T.

V Show, it won't, it's tasteless and it seems the producers are heading into porn and not to what was once a great TV show.

I am very sorry to write this review because I too am a great Drawn Together Fan but I am warning the fans by telling them to not get their hopes up, I apologize Drawn Together When I saw the preview I was really exicted to see the movie.

The movie carries a slightly different atmosphere than the show and is a little more action oriented. Despite the lack of censorship in the movie I was surprised to find it seemed to be less offensive then the actual show.

That being said there are lots of really funny one liners that just make you laugh uncontrolilby. I was happy to have Seth as I.

The films message is also something that I feel is genuine and I think a lot of other entertainment should take note of.

Overall my only real problem with the film is it is too short with only about an hour. Overall if you liked the show or are just a fan of satire and stupid humour and I mean that in a good way then by all means check it out.

Note: I am legally blind and cannot see 3-D, if you want to read about the 3-D aspects of this film you need to look elsewhere as I will not be commenting on them.

I will begin this review by saying that if you don't know what Drawn Together is, you probably don't care much about this movie.

If you are reading this because it popped up on your recommended list then you should go back and watch the series and THEN watch this movie.

If you have a weak stomach, if you think that South Park is stupid or should be taken off the air, you should avoid this show like the plague. It is not for you.

This is not a show for children or weaklings. The plot of the series if it can be said to have one is simple: The first animated reality show.

Cartoon characters of various kinds are brought to live in a Real World style house. The characters are archetypal cartoon types from a Pikachu-type battle monster to a Betty Boop knockoff.

The thing that makes this show work at least to me is that these are the characters when they aren't being characters. In other words, If you can imagine Daffy Duck finishing a take, going home and indulging in all the debauchery that Hollywood offers, you are starting to see what this show is like.

What emerges is a post-modern mix of the real world, The Real World, the cartoon world and a mix of any other cultural reference you can possibly think of.

After Futurama showed that Direct to video movies could not only lend vitality to a canceled series but might actually have the ability to drag a show back on the air, it was natural that some of the other good shows that were canceled because of network bottom lines might make it back on the air as well.

It could be said that this is because TV networks don't care about smart people. I just said it, so it can be said! This Direct to DVD movie takes the philosophical fight right to the producers.

Along the way they have a number of interesting moments including a moment when the cast listens to the DVD commentary to escape a bad situation and meet some strange I mean REALLY strange characters such as a very strange little girl and a giant that craps into his own mouth.

The only questions that really matter here are 1 Does the movie live up to the series 2 Can you sustain a show that usually has 22 minutes of content for an 80 minute movie.

The most important question to the fans is "Can this movie bring Drawn Together back on the air? If you are a fan of this show you've probably watched Drawn Together episodes back to back on the DVDs, this just saves you from having to do that.

As to the latter, the story actually does drag on a bit, however the writers seem perfectly aware of this - one of the characters even asks "Is there a Wrap-this-up-already land??

The movie is done in Flash which alienated some viewers. It needs to be said that the creators of Drawn Together were doing a movie for half the budget of one episode of the series and they did it fairly well.

This was obviously done by the network a network too cheap to provide 3-D glasses for a 3-D movie to destroy the show forever.

I think they have, 80 minutes of writing on an 11 minute budget shows and the writers should not be blamed for it. To end on a positive kinda note though, fans DO get closure in this movie, there is an end.

Drawn Together. Not being familiar with the "Drawn Together" stuff prior to this animated movie, I had no expectations. I just thought it was going to be some funny cartoon.

It was rather funny, and good to see some spoof on cartoons both old and new. The story is as expected of such a movie, straight forward and hilarious.

Lots of really funny situations and dialogue in this animated movie. However, it should be said that there are things that might offend some viewers.

So if you are of a delicate mind or mentality, perhaps this is not the movie to watch. Now, for me at least, this was not a movie that I will be watching a second time.

Sure it was funny the first time around, but I don't see the potential of additional viewings. Not much of a brainer here, just in-your-face-and-over-the-edge animated comedy here.

Good for an evening of brainless fun and relaxation. Wow, it has been a long time since I heard of this series and apparently for good reason.

This film is the reason why most shows deserve to get canceled and left to die. I have watched the entire original series and was somewhat amused by it.

The show was witty without a message and some points funny with over the top gross out humor. But this film took everything from the show that was somewhat good and screwed it up.

I can't believe whoever made this movie was considering that the sales of this film could revive the show.

The film contains even more over the top jokes and swearing simply because it is a direct to DVD film and doesn't have to worry about network censorship.

This would be fine but all of the jokes in here are either unfunny or just plain disgusting. The show definitely had these kinds of jokes but they were tame considered to the things in here.

I will admit that I am not a huge fan of the show and really hated how they ended it. But in my eyes the show had a good run and should have simply gone away in peace.

Much better shows have been canceled at a short run and deserve a second chance, but not this show. Now this film is simply moronic in its approach and execution.

The film constantly jumps around from scene to scene in a relentless manner and the story keeps getting more and more drawn out no pun intended along the way.

Now the scene jumping would be fine if it had any sort of flow or order. But in this film they are so random that it becomes very hard to follow what is going on in the film.

It does leave some interest as the viewer tries to figure out what is going on. But overall it gets old very fast.

The story line in this film is pretty simple but way too convoluted for no reason. I simply didn't enjoy the movie as much as the show and felt that this was truly a half-hearted attempt to make a quick buck.

I was really hoping for something more funny and entertaining of a send off in here. But it never came along and when I saw that ending I was really ticked.

This film is not for everyone, even if you are a fan of the show. I definitely don't recommend it to people that are unfamiliar with the show as it would simply confuse them.

The film gives no explanation at who the main characters are or why we should even care for them. These elements are from the show and only someone familiar with the show would be able to stomach the lame humor and fart jokes sprinkled through this movie.

My final review score is a 2 out of The film simple didn't entertain me on any level and only reinforced all the things I hated about the show.

Now if you enjoy lame jokes and over the top fart jokes then this may be a film you would want to RENT. But never buy it since it would only encourage the producers of this film to make another movie or revive the series.

Everyone else should just avoid this film entirely. There are no words boiswill 18 September I'm fairly indifferent to the show Drawn Together.

It did exactly what it wanted to do during it's run: be as raunchy, offensive, and disgusting as a cartoon could be.

That being said however, it did have some actually funny moments. But this movie is something else entirely. I've haven't been this disgusted and annoyed by a movie in quite some time.

The main idea of this movie is that shows should be allowed to be as gross and shocking as they want to be, as if that's the only reason Drawn Together was cancelled.

It also takes time to insult South Park by implying that the only difference between the two shows is that South Park has social commentary.

Drawn Together, the difference between you and South Park is South Park is actually genuinely funny and has good writing.

South Park has characters that can bring common sense into their crazy world. Drawn Together is a show of jerks being jerks to each other in a world of jerks with no balance to it whatsoever.

The gross-out and gore in this is downright nauseating. Every minute, something bloody, pussy, and feces-related is being shoved in your face.

Needless to say, don't watch this after eating. Or while eating. Or if you ever want to eat again. The animation is also awful.

It's another production that thinks that using flash animation is an excuse to be lazy. Flash animation is a great tool.

It allows you to animate faster so you can animate more to a degree that it can look better than traditional hand-drawn animation.

Here, it's a stilted, uncanny mess that looks like it's going to break down at any second. Everything about this movie just angers me.

It angers me that three years after being canceled, the creators of this show think they drop a big giant middle finger on their fans and expect them to like it.

It angers me that they would have the audacity to compare themselves to a much better show. No words are able to describe how terrible this movie is.

It's terrible in every sense of the word. No plot, no effort, no substance, just pain. Plain, unadulterated pain. Avoid this movie like the plague.

But seeing most fans of the show seem to hate this, you probably already are. Rating-wise, an NC or at very least a hard R seems appropriate.

The commentaries add some interest, while the few deleted scenes show very little was cut from the finished product. The original series was sharper and funnier than this weak series wrap-up, which this viewer bought used and on the cheap.

Enter send me. I am so behind in animation on TV these days with all these of new cartoons that 4chan talks about, so I do not know much about Drawn Together.

If you love dirty 70s and 80s cartoons watch this movie. Drawn Together was a raunchy TV comedy where under constant surveillance a team of broadly defined cartoon archetypes were sequestered and forced to compete in competitions reminiscent of then-popular reality TV shows such as The Surreal Life, Fear Factor, Big Brother, and Survivor.

It sounds like a term it dates itself immediately, but learning that this show limped along for three seasons and a direct-to-DVD film is a bit of a surprise.

Together with a metafictional plot which relies heavily on lazily-written "shock comedy," shockingly cheap-looking animation, and a general atmosphere of sour grapes, the movie tries to tie the Drawn series.

Nevertheless, The Drawn Together Film: The Movie, for all its blustering about crude jokes and "politically incorrect" fratboy comedy!

It's almost implacably dull; it's likely the cardinal sin of any creative project that seems to pride itself on being tasteless. Drawn together may get a lot of hate.

Let me explain why I think this movie is better than most give it credit for. Firstly, the humor in this movie is very good: it contains my in-jokes and references for fans of the show, and contains enough sexual content to satisfy even the most depraved of perverts.

Even still, the jokes in this movie are unique, off the wall, and well thought out: many of them had me in tears. Secondly, the characters are all lovable and creatively designed.

I feel that they near- perfectly represent the stereotypes of animation: from spanky, who represents internet animation, to Clara, a twisted version of a damsel in distress, and wooldorf, an adult version of Spongebob; I think this movie hits the nail on the head from a parody standpoint.

In addition, these characters also play off each other nicely, leading to some interesting conflicts and situations. Thirdly, the use of nudity in this film adds to the atmosphere.

Drawn together was not a series meant for kids, and when this movie got the freedom to put in nudity: it really complemented the tone nicely. While the nudity is not overused, I think it's also a bit underused: if I was the writer for this movie, i would definitely make sure to add in more nudity and sexual content.

Nonetheless, it's a great addition to the film, and, as said before, adds very nicely to the atmosphere. So, now that we've discussed the good things, let's move on to the bad things.

The animation is subpar: as with most flash animated shows, the animation can look stilted and cheap at times.

While it is not evident during most of the film, there are definitely some moments where the characters could use more emotion or fluidity.

This, however, is a minor complaint, and it did not in any way stop me from enjoying this film. Some of the characters can be predictable: while this doesn't make the movie unwatchable, it is a pet-peeve of mine to see one-dimensional characters.

For example, all the jokes about captain hero revolve around him being useless, and he has barely any lines to give him depth or make up for that.

In addition, I feel that out of all the main cast, spanky lacks the most when it comes to having a story arc: his character isn't very fleshed out, and he's thrown to the wayside and used only for one off gags.

The sex scene is kinda lame: I was looking forward to this the whole time I was watching through the movie, only to have a 1 minute clip.

In short, it was a letdown. Some scenes lack tension or are just flat out filler: the first 15 minutes of this film lack any sort of buildup and don't give the audience any useful information.

It's just the writers padding out the run time with jokes and redundant dialogue. In addition, there are many scenes which could've been trimmed down to allow more room for the main plot to unfold.

All in all, I'd say this movie is worth watching. Just don't have very high expectations for it, because even for fans of the show, it won't be the best thing in the world.

Final score: 6. I watched this on recommendation from a friend, and it was the worst thing I have ever seen, the animation is bad and so is the story and characters.

I did not laugh once. It is no surprise that this TV series was cancelled. As it was so unfunny, they had to make do with images of penis and nipples as a substitute.

After watching the movie I was sad that I had, but also glad that the show got cancelled and I would not recommend it to anybody.

Thanks Mark. Not only is there not a single likable character in this movie, but there also isn't a single scene that leaves you with anything better than a vague sense of discomfort after viewing it, most of which inspire active anger and pain.

There is absolutely nothing in this movie worth seeing. Even if you just want to be titillated by the genitalia, don't waste your time; it isn't remotely titillating, it's just there.

From what I can gather, this movie tries to be a scathing commentary on American censorship. But all it comes out as is a scathing commentary on the libidos and frat-boy mentality of Matt and Dave.

I don't know what these guys were on when they wrote this script, but even Matt Stone and Trey Parker could've done a far better job. The gist of the movie stems from the TV show about eight cartoon characters in a kind of reality show setting: Foxxy played by Cree Summer - I haven't been able to watch My Life as a Teenage Robot since , Princess Clara played by Tara Strong - I've only barely been able to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic since , Wooldoor supposedly a Spongebob expy, but certainly doesn't act like it , Captain Hero who exhibits a horrifying necrophilia throughout , Spanky Ham who inexplicably reminds me of Squigley from Sinfest , Toot who has somehow been impregnated by Barney Rubble , Xandir and Ling-Ling.

Foxxy surmises that their show is off-air when she realises that nothing is being censored anymore - which would only make sense from the perspective that it was still on TV and the uncensored DVDs weren't available yet.

However, nobody there seems to recognize Clara. She encounters the king of the land, who is not her father, and even more shockingly, a woman who appears to be the "real" princess.

The king has Clara and her friends thrown into jail as imposters. In jail, Clara acknowledges to the king that perhaps she may not be the official princess, but insists that she is a princess nonetheless and tries to convince him by displaying her beautiful singing voice.

The plan seems to be working until Xandir starts cheering Clara on. Clara becomes annoyed and yells at Xandir for interrupting her, even going so far as to smack him with a bird.

Upon seeing this, the king decides that Clara cannot really be a princess after all and orders the foursome to be executed. Clara grabs the king's coat to plead with him, but the guards chop her arms off.

Meanwhile, Xandir is trying to separate Hero and his "girlfriend" Molly a corpse he has taken to carrying around with him everywhere so that the two can start hanging out together again.

He acts as if Molly has come up with a plan to escape, figuring that when Molly does nothing, Hero will think she has deceived him and break up with her.

However, the guards notice Molly decaying and open the door of the cell to check on her. Hero whispers to one guard that his guard outfit makes him look fat, causing him to run off crying and the other guard to chase after him trying to calm him down.

Captain Hero, Xandir, and Ling-Ling take the opportunity to run out. Xandir stops to tell Clara they are escaping and asks her to come along with them.

Clara says that she has no desire to escape; since she is not a real princess, she has nothing left to live for. However, she decides to make one final heroic stand to help the others.

While the others are running out of the cell, Clara stays behind and jams torches into her arm stumps, then makes a kamikaze dash into the pursuing line of guards.

The guards end up killing Clara, but the other three manage to escape. She tells the group that they were canceled because vulgar and offensive content is only acceptable when your show "makes a point" and that if they want to get Drawn Together back on the air, they will need to get a point, which they can do by making a visit to a place called Make-A-Point Land.

After escaping from a sinking carriage, they set out to find Toot. Foxxy discovers Toot in Bedrock, bringing the story back to the present day. The two women manage to get away from the armed shooter from the beginning of the movie, who is revealed to be Betty Rubble , trying to kill Toot for having an affair with her husband Barney.

The Suck My Taint Girl is heartbroken to learn of Clara's death but agrees to take the rest of the group to Make-A-Point Land to get a point and get their show back on the air.

He picks the housemates up, intent on killing them. The housemates fix this problem by rigging Clara's severed arms to redirect the flow of feces so that they no longer go into his mouth.

The giant is so thankful that he puts the group down and allows them access to the wizard. The wizard agrees to give the group a point and presents them with a box containing their point.

Just as they are about to open the box, however, Spanky stops them. He declares that maybe they shouldn't open the box and says that he is happier being disgusting for no reason.

The others, with one exception, decide they agree with Spanky and decide that maybe it's okay to just be who you are without feeling like you have to make a point to justify it.

Wooldoor disagrees, however by pointing a gun at them. He says that he can't go on without Drawn Together and is determined to get back on the air by any means necessary.

The other housemates are horrified. It is then that the network head, the Jew Producer, and I. Foxxy asks how they knew the gang was going to the palace, upon which the Suck My Taint Girl steps forward to reveal that she was the one who tipped them off.

She then shows her true colors and tells the Drawn Together gang that she actually hates the show and has no intention of letting them get their time slot back, and also reveals she's the network head's wife.

However, the Jew Producer steps in front of them to shield them and pleads with the robot to let them live. He manages to convince I. The network head tells I.

However, The network head opens his coat to reveal that he has enough explosives strapped to his waist to destroy all of Make-A-Point Land.

This causes I. L to scream and jump out the window. Toot decides that it's up to her to be the hero and opens her legs and aims them at the network head.

At that moment, her baby, Bamm-Bamm, emerges from her womb and knocks the detonator out of the network head's hand. The Suck My Taint Girl runs over to the detonator and tries to grab it, but the Jew Producer dives in on top of her to stop her.

As this is taking place, the housemates make their getaway. However, in the process, they drop it, erasing all of Make-A-Point Land, including themselves.

The housemates, with the help of the giant, make it out just in time. The housemates visit the remains of the erased Drawn Together house.

They are sad the house is gone, but thankful to be alive. The giant wishes there was a way he could repay the group's kindness and help them get back on the air.

At that moment, the Jew Producer's son shows up to inform them that he might be able to help them.

With his father dead, the Jew Son says that he has taken over the family business. The housemates ask him if he can get their show back on the air.

The Jew Son says probably not, but he will be able to get them something else- a musical comedy movie. The housemates are thrilled.

Everything seems to have ended happily until Spanky accidentally steps on another eraser bomb, erasing them all from existence, completing the network head's plan.

The movie contains original songs, "by the Sherman Brothers", both of which are on the soundtrack. Veggie Fables: God is watching everything you do.

Bob the Cucumber: When you get undressed or take a shower. Larry the Tomato: When you touch yourself for hour after hour.

Veggie Fables: God is watching everything you do and he thinks you're a nasty naughty nympho slut. You sinful filthy whore, you're going to hell.

Your flesh will burn. Your bones will churn. Your soul will be torn asunder. You wretched heathen heretic. Burn in Hell!

Larry the Tomato: For eternity! Bob the Cucumber: So you'd better remember.

What's the point?? The film takes jabs at the producer being Jewish, at one point having him bother his neighbour to press the call button on his phone for him on account of it being Shabbat.

Uh huh. Why he even had his phone on for the occasion, I cannot imagine. Anyway, the whole thing takes the housemates on a rampage across the desert into a cheap imitation of Disney animation into some kind of stage show with a South Park version of Baby June from 'Gypsy', through which many pointless attempts at making penises funny and the vehicular manslaughter of several beloved and respected cartoon characters occur.

It actually gets worse in the last half-hour, with an animated sex scene in 3D, which, while not as hardcore as I'd feared, still is a psychedelic mind-rape that drags on for too long and again is not remotely titillating, after which the remaining housemates fly to Make-a-Point Land where they're greeted by a tornado of Foxxy's abortions, a wretched giant whose rostrum deposits waste into his mouth, and yes, more erection gags, proving once again that Matt and Dave have no limits when it comes to pointless and senseless exhibitionism.

I HATE this movie with a passion. To paraphrase the Cinema Snob, maybe that'll work out in future when I watch cruder films like Showgirls or Gross Out, because guess what: half of my brain is now missing!!

I've never seen the TV series, and, after watching about half of this movie, I don't want to. I had heard of the TV series, but I thought it was some stupid kids' show.

Then I heard it was more like an amusingly racist and homophobic show. I thought, "Well, that could be funny. I don't care if the show is anti-semitic, racist, homophobic, pornographic, misogynist and gross, as long as it has jokes that make me laugh.

I never laughed once. It wasn't because I was too offended or I thought they went too far. I thought the jokes were very poorly written, like they were copying the most generic, derivative jokes they could find from 4chan and fark.

Isn't that crazy?! I've never heard of a cartoon like that before! It's hilarious! Or not. Unfortunately, that's the entire sum of their wit.

The jokes never get any better, and the humor never becomes less generic. I've seen this all before, and I've seen it done better. I've also seen it done more offensively, so don't even try to complain that I was too offended or something.

If this had actually been funny, I'd have given it a higher rating, but the writers are pathetically lame. It's no wonder that their show was actually cancelled.

GravityLoudHouseLover1 9 September As the housemates struggle to cope with this realization, I. While the housemates hide under the van, the Jew Producer informs I.

Back in the desert, the housemates argue over what to do next. Foxxy insists that the way to survive is to get their show back on the air and together they singing One House suggests that they can seek out the Suck My Taint Girl for help.

Clara, refusing to believe that she is not a real Disney princess, still intends to return to her kingdom, claiming that her father, the king, can protect them.

While the others are arguing, Toot steals the van and drives off alone. Back at headquarters, the Jew Producer tells the network head that he cannot bring himself to have the housemates erased, having become attached to them.

He asks the network head why he hates the group so much. The network head then relates his story. The Jew Producer states that he won't help the network head with this mission, but the network head reveals that he has kidnapped Jew Son The Jew Producer's son.

The Jew Producer reluctantly agrees to help and he and I.
